With wide range of product groups and versatile kind of products such as PAN Type Carbon Fiber "Pyrofil" among others, and Prepreg, Cloth, Chopped Fiber using Pyrofil, Mitsubishi Rayon is able to comply with requirements of its users. The company is also manufacturing and selling CFRP goods utilizing these composite materials.
The company manufactures these products in the integrated production line starting from polymerization of raw material acrylonitrile (PAN), spinning of precursor, calcination of Carbon Fiber, making prepreg, up to molding of products.
In U.S.A. GRAFIL INC., a 100% subsidiary of MRC is manufacturing and selling PAN Type Carbon Fiber "Grafil" and NEWPORT ADHESIVES AND COMPOSITES, INC. is manufacturing and selling wide range of composite materials and film adhesives. In this way Mitsubishi Rayon is actively proceeding with international businesses, too.
