Introduction to Products:
Toray's PAN type Carbon Fiber "Torayca" has excellent properties such as "light, strong and rigid". The product is used for wide variety of applications: aircraft parts such as tail wing of Boeing 777 and fuselage of Boeing 787, sports goods such as golf clubs and fishing rods, general industrial usage such as CNG tanks and blades for wind power generation etc. Molded products are used for medical equipment (tabletop, cassette) and rolls for industrial machinery, and recently further for housings of PCs etc. utilizing electromagnetic shielding characteristics as well as lightness in weight. Furthermore, Toray is trying to develop business for building materials, cargo section of trucks, propeller shaft and bonnet hood of motor cars, large structural products such as balustrades etc.
